Case Western Reserve University Medical School Award
Dr. Bernard S. Arons, NDRI’s Executive Director/CEO, received the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine Medical Alumni Association Special Alumni Board Service Award on October 5, 2007. The award is presented annually to an individual who has made “extraordinary contributions to the field of medicine.” Dr. Arons is an alumnus of the School of Medicine’s class of 1973. The award cited Dr. Arons’ illustrious career, including public and private service, his outstanding contributions to mental health and substance abuse policy, and his present position as Executive Director of NDRI.
